Christmas in November

It’s Christmas in our house, yes Christmas in November. The tree is twinkling in the corner and the candles are lit but there’s no gifts in sight.

This is my Dad’s Christmas, the weekend when we celebrated his last. We didn’t exchange gifts, we exchanged memories, laughter and love. It was a wonderful weekend all about him. That was in 2009 and so now we do this each year… to remember and to celebrate him.

So Christmas is a feeling, at anytime of year. Remember who you love this weekend and treasure each day.
